Omotola came 1st in her age group with her
representation of the poem “Rain” by Robert Louis Stephenson. There were over
9,000 entrants in total so I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a great achievement! Omotola was invited to Cavan Library on Tuesday evening where she was presented with a goody bag full of exciting new books by the local
Mayor.
The rain is raining all around,
It falls on field and tree,
It rains on the umbrellas here,
And on the ships at sea.
